The Darling Home for Kids, previously known as The Rose Cherry Home for Kids is nestled on 77 acres of woodland in Milton, Ontario. Since opening its doors in September 2004, The Home has been providing a continuum of care and support from a child's initial diagnosis through respite and palliative care to families within communities in Ontario.
With the support of The Dr. Jay Charitable Foundation, the Darling Home for Kids was able to build The Dr. Jay Charitable Foundation Pediatric Palliative Care Wing. This area of The Home is designated for children who are in need of palliative care and are at end of life. Our support enables families to remain together in this specially equipped wing, 24 hours a day, surrounded by experienced and caring medical staff and counselors of the Darling Home for Kids. Thanks to The Dr. Jay Charitable Foundation, these families are able to receive full palliative care and counseling support during this, their greatest time of need.
