We will act as a primary advocate for and provide care coordination
to families. We provide respite care, palliative care and
home hospice services in the child’s home, using the
services of specially trained physicians, nurses, personal
service workers, and volunteers.
When no other funding is available, provide funding for:
- Medical services of palliative care professionals;
- Respite care;
- Specialized equipment, supplies, drugs;
- Patient transportation to/from doctor’s appointments,
clinics, treatment;
- Counselling services by a licensed professional Volunteer
management system;
- Hospice care;
- Support programs;
- Professional and volunteer training;
- community education program;
- Pediatric supportive care research in collaboration with
other institutions, agencies, programs, partners.
